The CCCP will be ending it's 10th season of regular monthly meetings in June. That makes us one of the longest-running clubs of this kind in Rhode Island. This past year we've had a lot of interesting guests & meetings, including: a talk on creative retirement planning; the creative process of tap dancing with Brian Jones; tattoo artist Luke taylor; comedians Guy Roman and John Laughlin; magician, Lon Cerel; a talk about re-branding the Peabody-Essex Museum by Jay Finny, their marketing director; a visit to the future site of the Heritage Harbor Museum; a presentation by Leo Rice, Marketing Director of Leslie University; a demonstration of new printing techniques by Meridian printing; a visit (with samples) from the Sappi Paper company; and an insider's tour of the Russian Sub.
It's this kind of variety that we constantly strive for. Our interest is in the Creative Process in all its many forms.
We hope you'll join us next year for more of this kind of creative exploration. Watch for information about the upcoming season and if you have any ideas for a CCCP meeting, by all means let us know about them.
